Thanks Jai! I actually had to change it to clear:left to work, otherwise it showed up on the right side of the comment box. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

@MIchael

There is a small tweak in the style.css file in the layers theme folder. On line #210 of style.css comment off or delete "clear:both".

This should solve your problem. Thanks for the feedback.

I love your theme and its simplicity. I did notice one problem that I am not sure how to address. I am new to blogging and am not competent with html and such. When I have a post that is shorter than the sidebar, my submit button on the comments disappears. Maybe you can give me some advise. Thanks again!

@Zablocki

Right! We can generally scale CMSes on a scale which abstract on one and specific on the other end. The first question while developing a CMS could be, where should the CMS be placed? I find Concrete5 to be transiting at somewhere middle of that scale. That defines its scalability and extensibility.

Now it's the turn of a user, how can he use the tools provided there!

True! This is the way CMSes should be built! Being a designer you don't want to spend couple of months getting into the code just to grasp the functionality of the system. Wich is often required with the most CMSes, if you want to build something nice and useful. I love the intiutive interface and how you build your own templates. I hope they never sell it to Google or Microsucks!

Hello, and first off, thanks for a lovely theme, though I have customized the colors to suit my own aesthetics. However I've noticed there is a problem -- no links in the sidebar will work at all, whether blogroll, categories, or any other kind of links, just in the sidebar. I changed to other themes to check this out, and it's only in this theme that I'm having the problem -- hope you can help, I can't find another dark-bg theme I like nearly as well!

So the most apealing thing about a CMS is beyond the content, into the add-ins that can make the site do what you want. I cannot find those from Concrete5, where should I be looking?

It's true, we did have a few security issues in our Beta's. We're now out of Beta & have resolved those issues. C5 is stable & we're building a number of sites based on it.
